Ushers are an essential part of the Topeka Performing Arts Center and vital to the success of our events!

Join us on Saturday, August 1 at 8:45 in the TPAC lobby, learn what our ushers do and become a part of the TPAC community.

8:45am registration and reception for the training. A little social time to get to know each other
9:00am - 11:00am Program and Training (Pending how the training and conversations go, it will end between 10:30 and 11am)

Agenda for the training:

  • Why ushers are vital to the program
  • Fun benefits for being an usher, including being in the know and being recognized for donating your precious time to our mission.
  • Usher Training and war stories along the way, with the emphasis on safety, policies and procedures, and the expectations of ushers when "something has happened"
  • And once you are officially trained and up to speed, we will cover how you schedule your events.
I guarantee it will not be a boring meeting and training. I like to have fun.

Looking forward to seeing you on August 1.
Daniel Kays, Executive Director
