Roger was born and raised in Topeka graduating from Topeka High School. Although now retired, he had been in the construction industry for over 40 years. He began his career as a residential carpenter and eventually started his own finish carpentry business. Roger has been involved as a project manager/estimator on many commercial projects over the years.

Roger spent time coaching his son's baseball teams, served on the USD337 School Board and was a firefighter/EMT for the Mayetta Fire Department.After moving back to Topeka in 2011 he has enjoyed golfing, woodcarving, volunteering with the Topeka North Outreach and spending time with family and friends. Roger and his wife Joy reside North of Topeka and have 2 adult sons.

Zac Broughton is the Director of Finance for MCP Group. Prior to MCP Group, Zac worked as Manager of Financial Accounting for Evergy and as an accountant at Summers, Spencer and Company, performing accounting and tax services for many local clients.

Zac is a native of Topeka, KS and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Washburn University of Topeka. Zac is also a certified public accountant in the state of Kansas. When not at work, Zac enjoys assisting with his children’s activities and riding his motorcycle.In his youth, Zac performed at TPAC numerous times and still has an appreciation for the performing arts.

Brent Piepergerdes – PT’s Coffee Roasting Company

Brent Piepergerdes is currently Director of Operations for PT’s Coffee Roasting Company and its subsidiary, Craft Coffee LLC. Along with overseeing daily production, sales, and financial management for both companies, he is a principal green coffee buyer, working with the team at PT’s sister company, Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, and directly with producer partners in Central and South America and Africa.

Brent has a doctorate in Geography from the University of Kansas. Prior to working in coffee, he taught in the Political Science Department at Washburn University, the American Indian Studies Department at Haskell Indian Nations University, and the Environmental Studies Program at KU. An avid music fan, Brent has played drums since elementary school. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and gardening. He and his wife, Samantha, live with their two children in Lawrence.

Diana has been in the staffing industry for 25 years. She joined Express Employment Professionals in 2003 and purchased the Topeka franchise and became the new Owner in 2008. She decided to expand her operation and purchased a second location in Emporia, KS in 2012. The Express Topeka and Emporia locations are SBA certified, and is a minority & women owned business.

Diana graduated with a B.S. In Organizational Management & Leadership from Friends University. Diana is a lifelong resident of Topeka and is a Mother of 3.

Diana volunteers her time with local organizations and local schools to assist with job readiness programs including the CARE program thru the Topeka Rescue Mission and most recently the IMPACT program with the City of Topeka.

Diana is active in the community. She serves on the GoTopeka Board of Directors since 2020.In, 2018 Diana was Co-Chair for Midland Care – Celebration Walk and OLG – Fiesta Mexicana Sponsor.She was awarded Women of Influence Award in 2014 by Go Topeka.Express Corporate office awarded Diana in 2012 the “Community Award” for the entire company. In addition, has been recognized in 2011 KC Business – As one of the Most Influential Women.She has served on many boards including the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, was appointed in 2012 by Governor Sam Brownback to serve as Commissioner for the Kansas Hispanic & Latino American Affairs Commission (KHLAAC), Past President (2015) of American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) Career Chapter and served on GoRed for Women executive committee. In addition, Diana was a chair of the Minority & Women Business Development Council, board member of the Topeka Independent Business Association (TIBA), Society for Human Resource Managers (SHRM), Sales and Marketing Executive of Topeka (SME).

She also holds active membership with the greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce, American Businesswomen’s Association (ABWA), Emporia Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City, and SHRM – Society for Human Resource Managers Topeka & Emporia.
