The Topeka Performing Arts Center is proud to announce their annual fundraiser will now incorporate bourbon and craft beers. Grape Escape is Topeka’s premier food and wine tasting festival and attendees can now enjoy local/regional bourbon and craft beer.
Guests will have the opportunity to sample wines from leading vintners & local and craft beers, and taste gourmet hors d’oeuvres and food samplings from premier restaurants and caterers. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items. The evening concludes with a live auction featuring an array of fabulous and unique items.
Along with wine tasting and entertainment, Grape Escape will feature a beer garden, cigar deck, and bourbon sampling. TPAC invites Topeka to come out and enjoy lots of swirling, sniffing and sipping at Grape Escape: Wine, Bourbon, and Beer, on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 6 p.m. Attendees can choose from a VIP, Taste of Topeka, and Hors D’oeuvres ticket, with additional drink tickets available for purchase at the event.
Grape Escape is TPAC’s primary fundraising event. It, along with corporate season sponsorship's and the Friends of TPAC program, provide the financial support needed to bring great acts to Topeka and provide educational programs to the community.
In addition to contributing to the quality of life in Topeka with stage performances, TPAC is also dedicated to making youth arts education accessible through special programs for children grades K-12. Grape Escape: Wine, Bourbon & Beer, is one of three fundraising events scheduled this year to help close a current deficit of more than $250,000. These fundraising efforts help ensure TPAC can continue to produce community education and youth outreach programs and keep its doors open for another year.
Event is 21+ and attendees must have ID to enter.
