General technical information about the Topeka Performing Arts Center stage and related spaces.

Load-in:

Unload trucks on Quincy Street (west side of the building) at the employee entrance. The equipment follows a 50' push to the stage pit. The pit will raise all equipment to stage level.

Stage technicians contracted for all events held in the Georgia Neese Gray Performance Hall are professionals trained in our facility

For Your Information:

Because of the distance between the stage and the loading area, please add approximately 45 minutes to your normal schedule (both load-in and load-out) if you wish to use the east side basement for all of your loading. At your request, we can add personnel to the call to help speed the process in the event of tight turnaround times.

The house box booms are very shallow in relation to the stage. This makes the upstage focus nearly impossible.

All sound positions are open air.

Lineset Schedule

The soft goods hang is permanent. Special consideration will be made on a show-to-show basis. Onstage electrics can be hung on any pipe.
